End of another day

Today was a good day. Rebecca rested peacefully for the first half of the day and we had some nice hang out time in the afternoon and evening. Now,every time she rallies I wonder if it's the proverbial last wind. It could be days, it could be weeks. Rebecca seems to think it might be sooner than later.

This evening me and the kids hung out on the bed with Rebecca. The kids showed her magic tricks they had learned... Trying to show 'illusions' to someone who has been hallucinating for days proves to be really hard. Ze'ev is asleep at the foot of our bed. Merav is in her room and Rebecca is peaceful besides me.

Thanks for the update, Andy. Glad you all had a good day.

Yes, it must be a strange feeling not to know if this is the last rally. We all know in the abstract that all we have is this moment, but we don't think about it much, and here it is looking you right in the face, almost literally. When I was in that situation my mind could barely take it in as actual reality. It sounds like you are taking it in, though, as best you can, which I find truly brave.

love love (as Rebecca would say),

Cried yesterday -- big slobbering mess. But today I'm focusing on her warrior spirit (yes, I did say that!) and taking strength that as long as she can be herself at times -- she will -- in order to be with you and the kids. This makes me happy-ish.

Last night, I dreamed of us running through her crazy-big childhood house in Bethesda, all white and gleaming and spacious. How our bare feet slapped on the stone tile as we ran out the back door and jumped into the pool.

My love and thoughts are with you all, I can only echo the comments made by so many, you are truly incredible and brave souls, all of you. Surrendering is one of the hardest things to do, but when you do, some how it becomes easier to bear your thoughts and feelings. I describe it as falling backwards into water, have faith that the water will hold you safely. All my love, Tasha XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
