Long day

Finally she is resting more peacefully. Still not totally peaceful but much better. Lots of drugs and finally... a foot rub... and she's resting. I wish I had thought of the foot rub earlier.

3 weeks ago we said 6-10 weeks... now we seem to be looking at 2 or 3... Kids are doing great. I had some big sobbing today, finally. I know my heart will mend but I sure wish I didn't have to have it so thoroughly broken first.

Sending love, Andy. I am really sorry that it was such a hard weekend and day.

The fact that the kids are doing great tells me that you and Rebecca must have done and be doing amazing things with and for them. But I'm not surprised, since both of you are amazing. Incredibly able to be in life, and to share what that means. It is such an unusual ability, and what a gift you give by sharing it with us.

I'm also sending a hug in response to your sobbing and your breaking heart, and I know there are many others sending the same.

love love

Bridget

Dear andy and all, Here's a couple of quotes from Gangaji that I am in Kindergarten with:
"We have tried everything to get rid of suffering. We have gone everywhere to get rid of suffering. We have bought everything to get rid of it. We have ingested everything to get rid of it. Finally, when one has tried enough, there arises the possibility of spiritual maturity with the willingness to stop the futile attempt to get rid of it and, instead, to actually experience suffering. In that momentous instant, there is the realization of that which is beyond suffering, of that which is untouched by suffering. There is the realization of who one truly is."
-Gangaji"
and

“Opening to whatever is present is a heart-breaking business. But, let the heart break, for your breaking heart only reveals a core of love unbroken.” Gangaji

Hope you've got Rescue Remedy to hand. LOVE YOU, xx Deborah
